Contrary to many people who quickly dismiss any software which is not written for Windows, YYnet considers Alpha Four an excellent relational database software.  Above all, the software is user friendly and intuitive to navigate.  It is also very capable, fast, flexible, and yet inexpensive to install and maintain.  YYnet salutes the early geniuses of the Alpha Four software company who conceived, designed and developed over a period of over seven years and made Alpha Four a leading relational database software.

Running Alpha Four in Microsoft NT networks
Many of YYnet's clients run Alpha Four applications in Microsoft NT networks.  These networks run NT 4.0 on the server and Windows 95 and/or 98 on the workstations.  YYnet has found that Alpha Four, after some fine tuning of the networks, runs smoothly and fast in such system configuration.

Interface with Microsoft Word and Corel Word Perfect, and with Microsoft Excel and Lotus 123
YYnet has written for clients simple interface programs that enable the clients to easily connect and feed Alpha Four databases to these Windows programs for various applications, such as mail merge, accounting, and direct marketing.

Interface with Microsoft Access, SQL Server and Oracle
YYnet has written for clients simple interface programs that enable the clients to easily connect Alpha Four databases to these "more modern" database systems.  These interface programs enable an integrated database system across the DOS and Windows operating environments.

Converting Alpha Four applications into Microsoft Access and SQL Server applications
For those clients who choose to have only Windows based database systems, YYnet has helped them rewrite the Alpha Four applications in Microsoft Access and SQL Server.

Membership and Fund Raising Management program
YYnet was commissioned to develop this program in Alpha Four, for use by all non-profit organizations that derive revenues from membership fees and grants and donations.
